For Highschools (videregående)

We present the Speaker Park project, and some of the central ideas and technology behind it, and invite the students to contribute to a composition by recording their own sounds. Recording is done in groups - one group with a field recorder, and one in the classroom.

Collective composition workshop for musicians and sound enthusiasts

This is a workshop where participants are invited to contribute to a collective composition, based on an audio recording of a 10 minute walk. There are sections with a clear rhythmical structure and tempo, whilst other sections become less formal.

Previous events

Oseana - Galleri Hvelvet

Speaker Park performed at Oseana in galleri Hvelvet from the 30th of March to the 7th of April 2019. The Concert installations were performed at set times during the weekend and played several times during the week in the gallery opening times whenever audiences dropped by. We also did the Speaker Park Workshop for high school children in Fusa, Bjørnafjorden municipality during this period.

Borealis - a festival for experimental music 2019

Speaker Park premiered with the first two concert installation pieces at Borealis - a festival for experimental music the 9th of March 2019.
The pieces were "Under the blackened skies. Beneath the remains" by and with Antti Sakari Saario and Songs from the inside of the outside
Composition by and with Mari Kvien Brunvoll. Both were recorded performances.
